New York City Viewpoints and Connecticut Scenes.
This new series of 20 New York City paintings explores both artists’ sensory experience of the city. Dunlop’s
painted images suggest New York’s ephemeral shifting activity, the cacophony of the streets and the blurred vision of a passerby scanning the urban parade.
Giarrano explores the dynamic between Soho's architecture, cobblestone streets and its inhabitants enhanced by the cool, low light of early evening or twilight which gives character and interest. Connecticut landscapes, still lifes and portraits are also on exhibit.
July 23rd-July 25th: Regional Plein Air Painters Invitational “Paint Out” in downtown Madison.
