The Cooley Gallery specializes in fine American art from the 19th and 20th
centuries, including the Hudson River school, American Impressionism, and
select contemporary artists.

Located in the heart of the historic district of Old Lyme, and set in a
deceptively large 19th century building, our four diverse exhibition
galleries have been described as "a cool, quiet oasis where tranquil,
intimate, all-is-right-with-the-world landscapes of 100 years ago are a
